How to Make a Ramalama Costume Walk Video From One Photo
A step-by-step guide to making the viral Ramalama (Bang Bang) Halloween walk with AI, from choosing the photo to posting it on TikTok.
You don't need a costume, a dark alley or a friend with a gimbal to post a Ramalama walk. Here's how to make one from a single photo in about ten minutes.
Step 1: Choose your photo
The photo decides how much the video looks like you. Use:
- One person per photo, facing the camera.
- Good, even light: daylight near a window is perfect.
- No sunglasses, masks or heavy filters.
- Waist-up or full-body if you have it; a clear headshot also works.
Read our photo guide for more tips.
Step 2: Pick a template
- Solo walk: one photo, up to 14 seconds.
- Squad walk: 2–3 friends, one photo each, up to 15 seconds. Make sure you have everyone's permission to use their photo.
Step 3: Pick a costume
There are 10 Halloween costumes: witch, vampire, zombie, skeleton, devil, angel, black cat, pumpkin, ghost bride and sparkly princess. You can also choose My own outfit to keep what you're wearing in the photo. Need inspiration? See 10 Ramalama costume ideas.
Step 4: Choose a version and pay
For a single video you don't need an account:
| Version | Quality | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Balanced | 480p, 14 s | $4.99 |
| Balanced HD | 720p, 14 s | $6.99 |
| Premium | 480p, 14 s, best likeness | $8.99 |
Making several? Credit packs start at $9.90, never expire and unlock every model, both lengths and 1080p.
Step 5: Wait a few minutes
We review your photo, then the AI model renders the walk with your face and chosen costume. Most videos are ready in 5–10 minutes. Your order page updates by itself, and we email you the link. If the photo is rejected or the render fails, you're refunded automatically.
Step 6: Download and post
You get two downloads:
- Silent: best for TikTok. Upload it, tap Add sound, and pick the trending "Ramalama (Bang Bang)" sound so your video shows up on the trend page.
- With the song: handy for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts or sending to friends.
Posting tips
- Post in the evening, when Halloween content gets the most views.
- Add hashtags like #ramalama #ramalamabangbang #halloween #costumewalk.
- Make a squad version with friends and tag them; group walks tend to get shared more.
